My name is Meghan Cleary, and like you, I love shoes. From the first pair of baby blue wedge espadrille sandals with embroidery I put on at the age of five, I’ve been following my curiosity and passion for shoes. Along the way, I’ve authored two books on what your shoes say about you, and talked to thousands of women about what they want in shoe.
MeghanSAYS™ designs are the culmination of my many years of observation, study of how shoes are made, listening to women, and my own passion. As one of a handful of women founders in the footwear industry today, my philosophy is that women should be listened to closely when creating shoes for them. It is my hope is that you will enjoy my spirited, fun and eminently wearable creations.

Meghan Cleary Bio
Footwear expert, author and trendspotter Meghan Cleary has been a shoe-industry insider for more than eight years. A former Wall Street marketing executive, Meghan has worked closely with celebrities and their stylists, designers and journalists to help provide a deeper understanding about shoes, what they symbolize, and how they help define our culture.
Her work includes red-carpet commentary, providing insight for talk shows and news (including Style Network, E!, the TODAY Show, Tyra, Extra!, CNN, Rachael Ray and the CBS Early Show), producing web, social media and TV content, and writing articles about shoes for publications like Marie Claire and The Boston Globe. She currently is Contributing Editor at The Hollywood Reporter’s style section, Pret-a-Reporter, where she writes about celebrities, shoe designers, stylists and their shoes.
She created, hosted and produced the celebrity talk show series, Shoe Are You®, and was co-host of Shoe Therapy® on HSN. She served as a consulting producer for the documentary God Save My Shoes, produced the first social media campaign for the Italian Footwear Association, and has been a spokesperson for Dr. Scholls for Her, Nordstrom and others. Her first book was translated into many languages including Croatian. Her speaking engagements around the U.S. include emceeing charity events, and speaking on women’s leadership, social and digital media trends and being an entrepreneur.
She is a member of Two Ten’s Women in Footwear, where she serves as mentor to other women in footwear, and is a founding member of Two Ten’s Los Angeles Women in Footwear Committee.
